the tiredness excuse is often used to stay stuck in old habits.

sadly
you don't have the energy to exercise in the morning or cook a lovely meal,
although you'd really love to.

you're too tired to transform your garden into the small paradise
that would make you so happy.

being convinced that you have no energy can very quickly turn into a self - fulfilling
prophecy.
the more energy you put into thinking about your tiredness,
the more tired you will feel.

usually the energy will start flowing automatically once you simply
get to work.
it's important to combat the tiredness virus with stimulating thoughts.

the first step is to focus your attention on the thing you want
to create instead of on what
(you think)
you can't do and haven't done yet.

CHANGE..
'i don't have the energy'
into
'i live my life with passion and this
passion fills me with energy'

I CAN'T AFFORD IT.

'i've never been able to travel because i don't have any money.'

' i can't work fewer hours, i've got to pay the bills.'

obviously some people have more financial means than others,
but even for the financially weak
' i can't afford it'
is a bad excuse.
for starters, what is your desire worth to you ?

how much are you prepared to invest?

what are you prepared to give up ? , if necessary.

what can you cut down on ?

in other words, what is the decisive factor here,

your stuff,
your possessions,
or your heart ?

in addition, once you become aware of your current wealth,
your thoughts will change.

be grateful for all the essential things in life that are free,
and for all the things you get automatically.

once you are aware of everything you have, you won't let
fear of lacking something
get in the way.

you will open your eyes to the abundance the world can offer you
and will see possibilities to fulfill your wishes.

you'll be aware of opportunities when they arise
and you will actively look for alternatives
to realise your dreams.

complaining about not having enough money will only
increase your sense of deficiency and keep
everything the way it was.

CHANGE..

' i can't afford it'

can be turned into

' i am rich and i am connected to a source of boundless plenitude.'

I'M TOO OLD.

your age can seem to be a major obstacle on the road

YOU
are eager to take.

you feel its too late
to change your job
or to write that book.

you'd love to learn new things.
but your age won't allow it anymore.

RUBBISH, OF COURSE !

if you're not careful, you will let your destiny slip from your hands by feeling
either too young
or too old.

when you were young,
your excuse was that you didn't have enough experience to make your dreams come true.

now you have discovered that you have ended up in the
TOO OLD
category, dyer says.

the age excuse is based on your tendency to identify more with the number
of laps you did around the sun
than with the unlimited nature of your being,
which is quite independent of your body's age.

thoughts are ageless, and when you live in the
present you will no longer worry about how old you are.

you will just focus on what you want to do at that moment.

an excuse that is very similar to the  age excuse is

it will take too long.

the american psychologist
MURRY BANKS
describes a conversation he had with a 44 year old woman who decides
not to go back to school because she thinks she will be too old by the
time she finishes her training.

'how old will you be when you get your diploma ?'
he asks.

'forty - nine,'
the woman replies.

'and how old will you be in five years if you don't go back to school ?'

this example illustrates an important notion that can help you
overcome this excuse :

time goes on, no matter what.

do you want to spend that time on
self development and realising your dreams and self ambitions ?

or,
do you want to spend it on thinking wistfully of all the
things you could have done ?.

change
'I'M TOO OLD'

into

'I'M NEVER TOO OLD
TO DO WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY,
AND I CAN DO IT RIGHT
NOW.'

I DON'T HAVE THE TIME.

the most common excuse by far,
you're too busy to do the things that would really make you happy.

however realistic this seems,
obviously is was
YOU
who made the decisions that are now causing you terrible busyness.

it's important to become completely aware of your own responsibility.

the things that are now demanding so much of your time and attention
seem to be out of your control.

* a demanding job
* friends who want to meet up
* children who want to be taken all over the place .

and yet all these things are caused by the

CHOICES

YOU

yourself once made.

this means

YOU

can also change your priorities and create
a life that gives you more time for the things that are important to you.

here are a few thoughts that can help you change your priorities.

I'M ALLOWED TO SAY
  NO
TO QUESTIONS THAT KEEP ME FROM LEADING MY
OWN LIFE.

I CAN DO THINGS IN MY OWN WAY.
THERE ARE NO ABSOLUTE UNIVERSE RULES.

I WANT TO MAKE TIME FOR MYSELF TO LIVE THE LIFE
THAT I WAS DESTINED TO LEAD,
WITHOUT NEGLECTING MY
RESPONSIBILITIES AS A

PARENT
AN EMPLOYEE
OR A PARTNER.

'I DON'T HAVE THE TIME'

can be turned into...

'I CAN CHANGE MY PRIORITIES AND I CAN MAKE
 TIME FOR WHAT IS TRULY
IMPORTANT
TO ME.
