SERIOUS BLING !!!

JAIPUR JEWELLERY SHOW.

this is the 12th annual event.
for whatever the reason, the venue was moved from C-SCHEME to SITAPURA.

to encourage people to make the 45 mn trip, there was 2 pick up points , the one closest to me was
RANBAGH PALACE.

i got the auto there early, 9.30am, then only had to wait about 10mns, then another lady and i were taken in a clean, spacious car to the show.

entrance fee $8
well worth, every rupee, to see this SERIOUS BLING.

this is the entrance, to where cars were waiting to take people to the jewellery show.

this is a large photo on the side of the entrance in above photo.

DIAMONDS, RUBIES & PEARLS SET IN GOLD.

a large banner on the side of the HUGE building.

FRESH ROSES, part of exterior of this exhibit.

DIAMONDS, SAPPHIRES, PEARLS, SET IN GOLD.

my ticket

DIAMONDS, RUBIES, PEARLS SET IN GOLD.

RUBIES, EMERALDS, DIAMONDS, PEARLS SET IN GOLD.

part of exterior of a shop

this photo had to be taken, because of the
PEACOCK RING
bottom right.
look closely and you'll see that it fits over 3 fingers.
the flower in the middle, is actually the ring.
the section between the peacock head & centre, fits under the first finger.
the same with the section on the right, it fits under the third finger.

also, the other rings, were stunning, as well.

DIAMONDS, EMERALDS, RUBIES..

what a CHOKER & EARRING SET !.
wedding jewellery.
(my bag is in reflection)

another lovely shop.
the cream was painted board, and the flowers had been printed onto foam board, cut out and stapled on.
then a few little windows to entice you INTO the showroom.

PRECIOUS STONES set as earrings.

another lovely display showroom.

area in front, with red lounge, is used for a casual seating area.

a POSTER girl.
she is wearing a very similar design in the choker , 3 photos above.

this is
  MORTISONS JEWELLERY SHOWROOM.

this is a newly designed showroom.
it was showcased in an indian decorating magazine in the last few months.

from the roof top of where i live, i can see this building.
at night, it is lite up, with the corresponding colours in the exterior.
you have that vision in your mind, now imagine that it goes on and off as well, then the colours blend together.
it is certainly a sight at night.

i would have liked to take more photos, but i was very aware, that the shop owners probably didn't want photos taken of their designs.

i had a great day here, so much jewellery suitable for the INDIAN BRIDE ,
as well as her mother.

there were designs that would be very suitable for cocktail rings, engagement rings, day jewellery,
but it was this

SERIOUS BLING
that i wanted to share with you all.

  1. Blingin` Debbie! Love the jewels, I expect they were also in 24k gold, which I also love. Wish I could see it in person. Rose x :-)
