making the most of my last days here.

this is the type of announcement banner that, is usually out the front of the
MARRIAGE GARDEN.

down the street, here comes the

playing very loudly.
the cake tier lights are powered by its own generator,
so it also comes on its own trolley.

the
GROOM
arrives.

here he is, at a ceremony, out the front of the garden.
this was
secret mens business.
(not really)

you can see the grooms hands, have had
MEHENDI
(henna)
designs applied.

his open hands
are receiving different little articles.
all would have a meaning.

still outside, here some of the guests are watching
other ceremonies that is happening to the  groom.

LOUD
music still being played.

this is the plate of symbols
that are being offered or
applied to the groom.

i assumed close male relatives,
had the tikka ( red paste)
& rice applied to forehead.

still dancing outside the entrance.

part of the garden setting.
it is usually set out in a U shape.
in the middle of the grounds,
in this case the purple fabric covered tables,
is where you take your plate,
servette & spoon.

also at this section,
is a basic selection of salad.
cucumber, onion, beetroot, carrot, chilli pickles.

a waiter is wearing a red turban.

this is part of the tented canopy,
where you choose your hot foods.
also a variety of bread to be chosen.

the men in yellow, are the workers.
they are collecting the rubbish.

this is the stage where the bride and groom
have their official ceremony.
also
where
COUNTLESS
photos are taken.

ME

in my BEST PARTY DRESS.

i have 2 party dresses.
that is what , dresses that a woman wears to a wedding is called.

bangles on the arms to match the outfit.
the bangles have to be on each arm,
identical in number,
identical in colour placement.

you can't see the shoes, they are black with silver diamonties,
high heels.

after the wedding earlier this week of
4,000 people,
this wedding felt like a

FAMILY DINNER.
