MELBOURNE was such an exciting place,
the half day adventures that annie and i did.
this post is just about
you know.... the things that just CATCH your eye.
for no reason.
it just seems to tell me
'HEY YOU... LOOK AT ME,
GIVE ME MORE THAN A PASSING GLANCE'
art exhibition in a cafe, beautiful flowers.
i did like the RED HOT POKERS.
the ghosts of this building, would have a story to tell us.
in the middle of now where.
loved the old rusty iron, used on the ceiling of this cafe.
this is our lunch.
mine is the baked beans,
annie enjoyed the smashed avocado on sourdough.
these planter boxes, were in the main street of a little town.
they adjoined a restaurant, that harvested the produce.
i am sure, that produce would also be harvested at midnight, & not by the people who water them daily.
the food boxes went down one side, and then turned the corner and went the other street.
graffiti in melbourne is exciting.
we went to 'CERES' a community garden.
it was great, to see the plots of land being used wisely and so productive.
i thought the idea for these GREENROOFS were fab.
a GREENROOF in action.
can you guess what these circles are???
i got interested in spotting the LEMON TREE in the front gardens.
i believe years ago, all good Italians grew a LEMON TREE in the front yard.
both have been cherished and well cared for.
stained glass window of a catholic church.
part of the church's ceiling.
this is a lovely story.
the exterior of MISS RUBY'S HOME.
an arch of THE OLD CHURCH.
