'MISS FISHER' season 2 clothes...

who is going to raise their hand,
admit they got just a little addicted to

MISS FISHER'S MURDER MYSTERIES.

a television series made by the ABC.

i certainly did, not only for the story line,
but
for the clothes and the interiors.

what an era to live in !

while i was in melbourne, annie & i went to see this wonderful display of outfits from season 2.

the setting was RIPPON LEA HOUSE.
a national trust building.

as you can see, the exhibition is on till 30th september.
if you are in melbourne, and can go,
get yourself there.

WHO DONE IT !

some REAL money, displayed at the card table.

beautiful embroidery on this hat.

another little curly hat.

didn't MISS FISHER look great in hats.

in one of the upstairs room, it was set up with table and chairs, paper and coloured pencils.
school children had been invited to come in, and design an outfit for miss fisher.
this is the one that caught my eye.

isn't is hilarious!!!

in another room, there was a display of  some  hats, dresses being made.
the fabrics, laces and beading was exquisite.
on an overhead tv screen, you could seen the seamstresses cutting and making the outfits.

this is in the foyer entrance.
this is the VISITORS DRESS UP AREA.
there was items on this dressing table, plus 2 racks of
ONE SIZE FITS ALL
dresses and coats.

this is not MISS FISHER.
it is MISS DEBBIE.
